It's an AI and I'm not gonna hide that, but it's nothing like those "press 1" robots you're used to. The voice is natural, the conversation flows, and callers get looked after instead of stuck in a menu. Calls open with a quick recorded-line notice, then it gets straight into taking the job details.

No per-call fees, just one flat monthly price that covers your allowance. Each plan includes a set number of call-minutes a month: 150 on Solo (around 50 calls), 300 on Business (around 100 calls), or 500 on Expansion (around 160 calls). Unused minutes roll over for a month. Go over your allowance and extra minutes are billed automatically per minute: $0.42/min on Solo, $0.38/min on Business, $0.34/min on Expansion, no notice needed for it to kick in. See the next question for what we do if that becomes a regular thing.
Your calls still get answered, we don't cut you off mid-job. Extra minutes are billed automatically at your plan's per-minute rate the moment you go over, same as described above. If it's a one-off month, that's all that happens. If you're regularly going over, we'll give you a ring about moving up a plan, since it's usually cheaper than paying overage every month, but that call is about saving you money going forward, not about switching your billing on.
You tell us what counts as urgent for your trade, and Blaxland flags those calls the moment they come in, then fires off an instant SMS and email so you know straight away and can ring them back fast. Standard leads get captured and wait for you, so you're not chasing every ring.
There is no need to change your phone number. We use standard call forwarding to seamlessly connect your current number to your AI assistant. You can choose to have the AI answer every call instantly, or set it up as your personal backup, stepping in to catch every missed call before they go to voicemail.
It's built to never guess. If a caller asks something it's not confident about (a specific quote, a technical detail, anything outside what it knows) it won't make something up. It takes their name, number and what they need, and sends it straight to you to call back. You never lose the lead to a wrong answer, and the customer still feels looked after.
